Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using any app published by Joel Research Corporation (“JRC”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.
License
JRC grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use its apps on devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service. This license does not transfer ownership of the software.
Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the apps except as expressly permitted by law
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the apps
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or attribution notices
Hardware compatibility
CAV6 Control is designed to communicate with Russound® CAV6.6 multi-zone audio controllers via a network-to-serial bridge. JRC does not manufacture, sell, or warrant any hardware. Successful operation depends on compatible third-party hardware that you supply.
Trademarks
Russound® and RNET® are registered trademarks of Russound, Inc. JRC is an independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Russound, Inc. or its parent or affiliated companies. All product names and brand references are used for identification purposes only under nominative fair use.
No warranty
THE APPS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. JRC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPS WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JRC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGE TO HARDWARE, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPS, EVEN IF JRC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. JRC cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Changes
JRC may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the apps after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state where JRC is registered.
